As a Provisional Registered Psychologist, I am currently pursuing my Psy.D in Clinical Psychology. My priority is to build trust with my clients by creating a safe, non-judgmental space where they feel heard,
respected, and understood. I maintain a strong commitment to confidentiality, practice active
listening, and approach each individual with empathy and respect. I am punctual, dependable,
and ensure that clear professional boundaries are maintained. Transparency is key in my practice,
and I am open about my therapeutic approach, which includes collaborating with clients to set
meaningful goals and check in on their progress. My therapeutic approach blends Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Trauma-Informed Therapy.

I have experience working with young adults, and individuals navigating a range of
challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and life transitions. I also work with MVA clients and currently training in Formal Assessments for children.

Further, I recognize the unique experiences and needs of newcomers and immigrants, and I am deeply
committed to providing culturally sensitive support. I understand that adjusting to new
environments can be overwhelming, and I am here to help you navigate these challenges while
respecting your cultural background and individual journey.

Seeking support can feel like a daunting step, but you don’t have to go through it alone. If you
are ready to explore how therapy and psychological services can support you through anxiety,
trauma, stress, depression, or any life transition, I’m here to listen, provide guidance, and work
with you at your own pace. Together, we can celebrate your progress, no matter how small, and
work towards building the future you deserve.

As a Provisional Registered Psychologist at Sunshine Medical Centre, I am passionate about supporting adults 18 and older who are facing challenges such as stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and significant life transitions. My goal is to create a non-judgmental and supportive environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to work toward meaningful change. I believe in building trust through empathy, active listening, and collaboration, helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and resilience.

Currently pursuing my Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology, I blend evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Informed Therapy, to provide effective and individualized treatment. My approach is client-centered, ensuring that therapy remains aligned with each person’s unique needs while regularly assessing progress to encourage personal growth.

In addition to working with individuals struggling with these concerns, I have worked with new mothers experiencing postpartum depression and anxiety. As a mother myself, I understand the emotional and psychological toll that the transition into motherhood can bring. I support new moms in navigating these challenges, helping them develop coping strategies, manage expectations, and regain a sense of balance and well-being during this transformative stage of life.

Additionally, I am committed to providing culturally responsive care to immigrants and newcomers, including refugees, who may be adjusting to new environments while facing unique emotional and psychological challenges. I recognize that cultural identity, past experiences, and personal values play a significant role in mental health, and I strive to provide compassionate support that respects each individual’s background and lived experiences.

Beyond therapy, I am currently training in psychoeducational assessments to help identify cognitive strengths and challenges in children and adolescents between the ages of six and sixteen. These assessments provide valuable insight into various areas, including academic performance, cognitive abilities, behavioral and emotional concerns, social skills, and overall development.

Seeking psychological support can feel overwhelming, but you do not have to go through it alone. Whether you are facing anxiety, trauma, stress, depression, postpartum challenges, or major life transitions, I am here to help. Together, we can work toward positive change, celebrating progress every step of the way.
